The threat of loss of sight can be very depressing and it is important to build support systems for persons go through such challenges. AEF a charity non-governmental organization with no affiliation with any religious, political, legislative or socio-cultural body.

Our vision is to have a world that is not only better informed about good eye care to ensure that people’s eyesight lasts them their lifetime but also where blind and partially-sighted people have the confidence to reach their full potential and the opportunity to play an active role in society.

AEF Launches in Ghana

AEF, officially launched on the 21st of October, 2017, in Accra. This organisation, one of the first of its kind by a Senior Audit practitioner, has been welcomed as a necessary intevention considering the epidemic of sight loss gradually gripping the Ghanaian landscape.

Upcoming Outreach

As part of AEF's community services, the foundation will be embarking on a community outreach programmes around the country. The points of call will target blind and partially blind individuals having inadequate assistance with their eye condition around the various communities.
